The new album 'Sleep and Release,' the follow up album to their debut masterpiece, 'A Story in White,' somehow managed to best it's predecessor.
Aereogramme has taken their mastery of blending and clashing lightness and darkness, subtlety and abrasiveness, melody and explosions, to a completely new level that 'Story' had only hinted at.
Rumor mill has it as well that the boys from Scotland will be touring Stateside shortly after the release of the album. Keep checking back here for updates.

It's only a matter of time until people figure out how amazing this band is. I saw them at a bar in Denver and have been looking forward to them coming back ever since. Cannot wait for sleep and release.

I'm listening to the new album for the first time. It's really lush and beautiful.

Reminds me of Sigur Ros somewhat. A Sigur Ros prone to metal freakouts and throat-scorching scream sessions, but still...
