View Full Version : def jux
somewhere around 1993 my passion for hip hop, save for kool keith, died. after paying attention to a few el-p tunes, i'm thinking maybe i should check out some def jux releases. what would be considered the "definitive" def jux records?

Aesop Rock, Labor Days is part of a well-balanced meal.
As good as Def Jux is, Anticon is better.

Have you heard Why?'s album, Paul? If so, how is it?
Not just yet, but it's on my list.

I've only listened to it once or twice, but the goofy, whiny white male vocals really turn me off.

How about Rawkus, guys? Guys? Guys?
thanks for all the responses. one last thing, how do the el-p and cannibal ox releases rank up there? heard good things about them.

Are you thinking of "I Phantom," but it's not an EP.
