Sukebe,

You'll have to contact Jeepster Recordings in the UK to find out who the Asian licensees are. Matador only has the rights for US and Canada.

Our version lists for around 20 bucks.

i was surprised it only cost 20 dollars, considering the around forty for the pavement dvd. seems lame to pick that dude to do it, not only is it extremely expensive but the dude took his time working on it like it was a little hobby on the side of more serious stuff to do. and this was a hobby that was behind his other hobby of trying to fit a foot long miniature ship through a half inch bottle hole.

Umm.. 40 for the Pavement DVD? In what currency? Plus that was a double DVD.

Sam Goody's are out of their mind... we'll look into this. The list price is $26.98 for two well-packed DVDs, and you should be able to find it retail considerably under this price. Try your local indie or a mailorder place (or order it directly from the Matador Store (http://www.matadorrecords.com/store/index.php)).

this reminds me of Best Buy's $14.95 Danelectro EP.

This DVD is fantastic, really, adorable. All the neat behind the scenes sequences are spaced out with live shows, some of which are hilarious (the band miming, hamming it up on Top of the Pops) and some stupendous ("Boy With the Arab Strap" at Coachella). I was able to watch it, then watch it again immediately after. In fact I had to. I was compelled. By <Satan.
