Hello Ladies:

I've loved the three NEU! records recently re-released on CD and I'm curious about Michael Rother's solo work... allmusic.com gives uniformly positive reviews to all of his solo dicks, and suggests -- if I read correctly -- that his solo work leans more to the quiet, ambient side of NEU!'s output, which is what I like best, sissy that I am...

Unfortunately all his records are only available as expensive imports, which sucks... but I see several of them in original vinyl form currently listed at ebay for cheap...

Is there one or two I should begin with or will I like them all?

I salute those of you kind/knowledgable enough to inform my decisions with your kindness/knowledge, thank you.

i commend you on mentioning the Avalanches- since i left you i love it but the record only moved my feet...it didn't move me otherwise. And sometimes it feels good to be silly sometimes.:)

If you like the quieter side of Neu, then check out Harmonia (Michael Rother's first post-Neu project). The one to go for is "De Luxe". It's excellent.

So is Klaus Dinger's post-Neu project, La Dusseldorf.
