I just downloaded All Medicated Geniuses from the Matador website. It's really good, I think it looks like Modest Mouse. How does the rest of their songs look like, is it as good? Thanks for answering.

[I would have posted that in the PGMG board, but it seems quite dead and I want an answer. Thank you moderator.]

By the way, I think they're awesome. A lot of their songs "look" even better.

I'm French and there's no "looks"/"sounds" distinction in French - reason why I keep making that mistake when writing in Enlish and keep getting called, clearly or not, illiterate. Ant, I think that Pretty Girls Make Graves' sound is more active and diverse than Modest Mouse. This is not a dig on Modest Mouse at all. I like Modest Mouse. I just think that the members of Pretty Girls Make Graves have more energy and are more musically inclined.

If you like the track that you downloaded, I am certain you will like the rest of the disc.

Believe it or not, I heard one of their songs on a major radio station the other day!

Thanks for your reply. Actually I was surprised at the amount of files available on Kazaa. I thought that was a lot for an indie band.

I don't think PGMG sound like Modest Mouse, compared to their music. Anyways, "This is our Emergency" is a really great song.

Awesome. Can't wait. Normally, a video like that would be quite mediocre for any other band but it fit quite well with the song with the music for this one.
