Pretty Girls Make Graves' van, trailer and equipment was stole in Seattle - they've recovered the vehicles but not the amps.

I made a donation and have a suggestion for an MP3 download. Instead of or in addition to the current MP3 up for PGPM, I think that people new to the band would enjoy "Something Bigger, Something Brighter" much better.

Their gear getting stolen really fucking blows.

Looks like the suggestion had an impact, but I'd just like reiterate bittersweet's post. In my experience, those new to PGMG prefer their slower tunes.

Frankly, I think that this is one of Matador's best releases of the year. It's up there with "Electric Version" and "Earthquake Glue" in terms of my year's favorites.

I do as well, though I've only purchased a pair of 2003 Matador releases (the other being Mogwai's latest). I do plan on picking up Electric Blue this week somtime (saw their most recent video).
