I'm in a class on the Women's Music Movement, and our next assignment is to do a bio on a female artist/group that was either part of or influenced by the Women's Music Movement.
I was just wondering if Chan has ever cited members of the movement, or even modern day female/feminist artists (like riotgrrl, etc.) as an influence, or considers herself to be involved with feminist/women's music. Any insights?
