Congratulations to Chan for placing an admirable 11th in the new Rolling Stone magazine which features the 50 greatest 03 cds. i had a feeling, or anticipation, before i opened it that cat power would be in there because i saw such non-radio played bands such as the bad plus, drive-by truckers, the libertines, kings of leon, the new pornographers, etc. (of course all of those are bound to be played in other cities but obviously not mine).
