Yes, Interpol will play on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno next Thursday, February 20th. Don't miss out.
New photos in the Interpol section too.

Patrick! Please tell me Matador has pull over tickets for the taping of Interpol on The Jay Leno show!! I really want to go, I promise I'll scream like a 14 year old girl when Interpol is announced! The only other way I can get tickets is if I wake up at 7AM drive to LA (an hour away) and take a chance with the lines, which always form quickly. And I'd have to call in sick to my job!
Can you help? If I know for sure I could get tickets, I'd do in a second.

Exactly! That's why I want tickets so bad! Patrick??
How'd you wrangle couch time after the performance, Matador? That doesn't happen very often at all...

I'd venture to say that whoever does their publicity wrangles couch time, as opposed to the label...
that's just a guess though.

Sorry about the tix, lightupthesky, I've been on the road the past week... and the line was really long and filled with people who definitely looked middle-aged and NOT like Interpol fans.
You should have seen how bemused the audience were during the set! But Jay was into it, and I think that's how the couch time happened - it's up to him at the very last minute (the band is asked beforehand if they have any little story to tell in case they are picked for the couch).
That's how I think it works... I'm sure having an extra :20 to fill out makes a big difference.
anyone see the promos they shot featuring both Interpol AND the quadruplets? Hilarious.

Yeah, I thought that Interpol didn't recieve enough love from the audience that night...there was seriously a lack of applause.
