and i loved the "touch and go now realizing that the internet is not a fad." have they gotten online yet or has albini convinced them that the internet is just a continuation of the cd and that it's EVIL!!!!!!!

i also heard albini hates going through drive-thru's, he believes in actually parking the car in the parking lot and walking inside to get something, even though he won't eat it in the restaurant and walks back to his car with his food.

Making fun of pitchfork has become clished and trite...It is easy to knock the site with the most updated news section which in turn equals the most popular. Who cares what their reviews say.....if you don't agree then don't read.

I am not a pitchfork representative- they are my favorite site to agree/DISAGREE with. I am just bored of the bashing.

It is not a matter of being "hip" at all. They are a news source.... why would anybody "attack" them? Did they provide false information? Or did they simply put their reviews (opinions) up on the public chopping block for everyone to read?

Sidenote- I'm not uptight---i thought it was funny

not really about attacking, but it's just fun to parody their format and poke fun at indie crap. and it has nothing to do with whether their info. is false or not. also they seem a bit too smug and pompous, probably because they are popular, as if that makes them valid. also they seem like a joke because they come off as third rate indie-kid poseurs trying too hard to be cool.
