I hope it's ok to post this here since there's no board for this topic, I heard a song by this band in the movie 'Stealing Beauty' and was wondering which would be a good record as an introduction to them or which would be regarded as their best.

I would start with "The Dirt Of Luck". Unfortunately it's rather hard to find at the moment since it's going through a repressing.

However you should be able to order the CD through the Matador Store (http://www.matadorrecords.com/store/index.php). I think we have about 3 copies in stock.

The other good news is that it's a Matador Low-Cost Classic, which means it only costs $8.00.
