HEY TINO, you like how I put that extra 's' in parentheses so people can list more than one?

HEY VESPER... yeah. you oughta be a friggin lawyer, mr. smart guy. heh heh
I was thinking about responses to this thread, and I realized, I don't know *anything* about what's been released specifically as a single (as opposed to just picking my favorite songs from recent albums).
"AK-47" by Weird War is on this year's record, but the 7" may have come out in late '03 as Scene Creamers. I bring that up as its the only single I've actually bought.
as far as shit on the radio:
- That first Darkness song is TITS.
- I guess "Palmcorder Yajna" by Mountain Goats was a single I heard on the radio a lot, and that's a great song.
- "Reptilia" by the Strokers is really tight.
- I don't listen to the radio enough, cos that's all I'm thinking of.
I'm rambling...

(dunno if this is actually "on the radio" since i don't really listen, but i think it's a single of some kind)

I didn't realize that Jay-Z was a guest on that song. Have you seen the video? It's kinda funny but it highlights many of my problems with Dead Prez.

haven't seen the vid -- Jay-Z is a guest on the "remix" i just realized (it's a bonus track on the album, so i figured it was the single version).
Kelis "Milkshake"
Deadly Snakes "I Can't Sleep At Night" dbl 7"
Wiley "Wot Do U Call It?"
Basement Jaxx "Plug It In"
Ponys "Prosthetic Head b/w How Does It Taste?"

That "Toxic" single is pretty hot, as much as it shames me to admit that...
Valentinos 'Aerosol Dream b/w Tell Me When It's Over"
Actually rocked this way more than any of the others that I listed.
Dave
PS I'm not into "Toxic" at all, but Che' keeps rocking it

I have to say, I'm a little surprised to see some of the answers that people are giving. I'm not saying this in a negative way, I just never expected to see names like Britney Spears, and Usher on theese boards. that having been said, I'm gonna have to go with Float On by Modest Mouse, although I really like She Wants to Move by N.E.R.D. as well.

Toxic is a good pop song.
Pressure Point by The Zutons gets my vote though.
