not exactly. but i saw will oldham last night as part of a two night "palace greatest hits live" thing here in austin and matt sweeny played with him (along with a bunch of other people) and did a great job. at least, i'm pretty sure it's the same matt sweeny. anyone know for sure?

anyways, if oldham is coming to your town i'd highly recommend checking it out. even though i don't really like the reworked songs, it was still really moving. he did some "i see a darkness tunes" too, so that was especially great for me.

you should try to see him. he does a cover of "ignition" (not the rmix) that's really pretty cool. he totally gets into it with his girl guitarist.
