...but I was just wondering what eveyone here thinks of the band Thursday. I am a snob, but I still think they have some decent songs. At least they do what they do better than all the emotators(a word I just made up because I am bored. I think Emotators should be the name of the band Mineral, since, you know, they ripped off Sunny Day...) that have destroyed that form of music with plain stupidity. Tell me what you think, I'm dying to know the opinions of people more snobby(that word isn't bad in this case) than me.

*stifles laughter* I'm not a fan. but then again, I think Avril Lavigne is actually pretty enjoyable, so my taste in more popular artists is arguable.

I think most people have their popular vices. My snob friend has Incubus right next to Interpol in his collection. Me, I wouldn't touch one of their albums with a really long stick.

really? I kinda like the Antics. (whaat? martin hearing an album before its released? thanks Funk!) Its not nearly as gloomy, but still has a lot of the things I love about TOTBL. I've only listened once, but I liked what I heard.

I don't plan on hearing Antics before it comes our, but as long as it's better than Franz Ferdinand, which i actually like a little, and The Stills, then I should be pretty happy with it. I'm just hoping that it doesn't do what a lot of follow-up of great albums do and... suck. Like... Wilco- A Ghost Is Born, which is abusing my ears right now.
