ROGER MILLER with Club d'Elf at the MFA July 14th
Roger's experimental/improvisational mind has always been a major element in that inexplicable Burma sound. When he trades in his guitar for keyboards and lets loose with sample mayhem, Roger channels his improvisational instincts into the most captivating currents. I was certainly captivated when he took the stage last night with bassist Mike Rivard's collective of funky jazz hip hopped Moroccan players.
