This got left out of the news update:

The next Dizzee Rascal album, entitled 'Showtime', will be released in the UK on September 6 and in the US on September 14.

'Showtime' will be released by XL Recordings themselves, who have set up a US office here in the building with us. It's a great record, and we with them the best of luck with it.

"stand up tall" appears to be the first single - just heard it for the first time via the video here:

i'm pretty sure he played this song live on the streets tour, and i think i liked it better then. it's not bad, but he seems to have lost an edge with this more upbeat clubbier sound. not as unique anymore. i'll withhold judgement till i hear the whole album, but i hope it's not all like this.

(also - i love dizzee, but he needs to stay away from the lip synch....)

at least they gave me my first look at the cover art today. crazy stuff. makes me think of jackie treehorn.

agreed, "learn" is awesome.

I would estimate that I have listened to "Learn" at least 7 times today.
