Anyone on this side of the border know how the seating works? i thot it was G.A., but there are still seating #s on the tickets. Admission.com is selling tickets now with lower #'s than the ones i bought 8 minutes after they went on sale. Just curious. i thot the numbers might have been just ticket numbers, but they seem to be going backw now....

The website seating plan offers no help at all.

Anyway, was just curious to know if anybody's been there before.

yeah, i was also wondering about this. i'm also having a lot of trouble deciphering the too-simple site map. there are no numbers on it. it would be great if it was g.a. - but it seems unlikely because it is a theatre.... answers anyone?

Yeah, it's weird. i mean, it's listed as GA, and when i bought them the guy said "It appears to be general admission," but then there are the ticket #'s. This is all it says on 'um:

03/04/12
LEVEL: 307 PARTERRE
SECTION: 307
ROW:
SEAT:

... and the other one's the same, 'cept it's 308.

Admission.com says "Category 1@ 17.00" and that's it. i just went there and pretended to buy tickets, and it said:

Number of tickets: 2
Seats: Level PARTERRE, Seat 85-86 (PARTERRE ADG)
Price zone: general admission
Ticket Price: 2 x Regular @ $17.00

... so i dunno how they could be better tickets 4(?) days later, unless the numbers run backwards, toward the stage. (i hope, anyway!) But they don't seem to be selling too quickly now, so you shoudln't have a problem. (And the balcony--not that anyone wants it--hasn't started selling yet, it seems....)

Anyway, i might call them and ask about seating for the show (e-mail doesn't work).... i want answers!

okay - i just bought my ticket through admission and i also have seat 85, level perterre. so i guess it must be general admission. we'll see i guess. i'm relieved. i can function now.

... just to keep the confusion smoldering (from the FAQ):

"Can we see a seating plan?

The Métropolis and Spectrum de Montréal venues are "general admission" halls. First come, first served. The Outremont and Olympia theatres offer reserved seating. You can consult the theatre seating plans under the corresponding "Venue Reservations & Technical Specs" headings."

Hmm.

wtf?

that's pretty funny. if that's true and there are seats - you and me are sharing one.... ? ! ?

if that's true and there are seats - you and me are sharing one....

Well, okay ... but i'm on top.

No No, let me quote myself:

i just went there and pretended to buy tickets, and it said: Number of tickets: 2 / Seats: Level PARTERRE, Seat 85-86 (PARTERRE ADG)

i was just saying that at THAT moment, those were the tickets available. (The same one you got--which means nobody bought a ticket between then & when you bought yours.)

MY tickets are 307 & 308. My whole confusion came from the numbering, and why i bought #307 at 12:08pm the 1st day, and you bought #85, today was it? Doesn't make much sense, and confuses my little noodle. But a few hours after i bought mine, i went to Admission and they were selling #340 or something.

See, i'd say here: maybe it IS General Admission--but then my last post.... Dunno. My girlfriend's calling them in the morning to ask about seating. It's just a weird way to do things. Doesn't really matter where i sit, 'long as i can watch the show without squinting, i guess.

My guess is that it's NOT general admission...
My ticket is: Niveau PARTERRE, Siège 95-96 (PARTERRE ADG)... Don't know where it is...

Even this doesn't help much:

Okay:

i called them and they told me that it IS General Admission. i guess the ticket #'s don't mean squat.

This place has a seriously weird way of doing things. Watch, we'll get there and it WON'T be GA.
