Matador shows one show at Irving Plaza for 5/14. However, the Irving Plaza site is showing both 5/14 and 5/15(with an onsale date of 3/5 for the 5/14 show).
Is the second show a definite? I can only do one show and the 15th is better for me. But I'd do the 14th if there's only one show. I don't want to screw myself out of tickets.
Patrick...any help here? Please?
Is Irving Plaza an all-ages venue?

as i eagerly await the announcement of a show in philly, i can't help but laugh at the internet patchwork of cryptic announcements. the matador site doesn't even list the second night at irving plaza! will a list of bookings be posted at matador in the near future? does boche billions know where our hero will be in early may? not even Ticketmaster/Pollstar can track him down...
maybe i should consult the TIPS site to find out: a secret police must be made to serve the public, and i hope we can turn them into the new, more accurate Mapquest. or maybe they can tell you if you're hot or not.

Yes, tour dates have been very cryptically encoded for Malkmus and his Jicks. The matador website doesn't list two nights for Irving Plaza, and both Pollstar/Ticketmaster only have sparse listings for his shows. Maybe as the recent EW interview indicates, Stephen's cynicism has overcome him and instead of entertaining the legions of nostalgic Pavement fans this spring, he is slowly cancelling shows, instead wishing to play scrabble and get wasted.
whew, i dont even wanna count all the grammatical errors in that sentence.
