So yeah... no plans for a vinyl edition of this obviously stellar reissue? I've been through 8 or 9 vinyl copies of CR CR trying to find and find and keep a clean sounding one. I'd do cartwheels for brand spanking new one with all these goodies.

ya I agree with karma.
Maybe you could put the slanted re-ish on vinyl format too.
Think About it.

No vinyl, for now. These CD reissues are nearly impossible for us to put together between our time and resources. We'd hoped to do a vinyl issue of the Slanted Luxe & Deluxe at the same time as CRCR: LA's Desert Origins, but no luck.

I don't know much about the record business, but perhaps if a pre-order situation was presented to the buying public at least the interest could be gauged enough to know how many to print... mitigating the risk. I popped down $100 for the Dylan Rolling Thunder Review set on 200g vinyl. I'd gladly pay $150 to have either of the Pavement reissues given the Classic Records treatment. The packaging is top notch and the vinyl is the real deal. Just wishful thinking here... but perhaps someday. When you do issue them on vinyl you will have sold me Crooked Rain and Slanted for about the 10th time :)

right, $150 is a lot. Realistically speaking... it should cost the about the same as the 'Dirty' reissue... 4 average weight LPs... $35 or something. Great record, but the reissue wasn't all that. With the deluxe treatment these Pavement reissues are getting its worth more.
