Pre-order bum-out...

I pre-ordered the album (in both formats, and the single in both formats too) from the Matador store two weeks ago, but still no sign of 'em in the mail (I did get the the single on CD format sent, but not the vinyl version!?). What a bummer...

Wasn't one of the advantages of pre-ordering that you get 'em a day before they get sold in stores?

you're preaching to the choir. this reminds me of when my Summer Sun preorder came two weeks after it was released. I'll take bets on how many weeks it takes for my Antics to get here.

Patrick, surely you guys can talk to InSound about not screwing us over again and again with glacial shipping when we use the Matador store. I like to use it so that you guys get a little more money your way, but there's only so many times I can get screwed with my pants on.

I got it last night - but no special limited edition, for collectors only pin. Oh yeah the record is way cool, but today it is battling against the Brian Wilson SMiLE release. Brian is leading so far.

Well, that's no good. Some people did get them before street date - as early as last Friday.

Hey js, I think we generally improved things with Insound since back then. Just check the people who preordered the GBV box set last year. I think it went really smoothly (and that was a LOT of box sets).

This is the first time that I have ordered from Insound since my poor experiences a couple of years ago and since the release of iTunes.

I wish that I was lucky enough to receive it before the street date as well.

Not for nuttin, but I tried to support the local shops as well.

Those of you who ordered the "Slow Hands" single at the same time as preordering the new album may have had delayed orders, due to delays in getting the 7" from the UK.

We've asked Insound to ship all outstanding CD preorders and not wait any longer for the 7".

Any ideas on when the vinyl Antics should be delivered? I pre-ordered the LP version as well as the 7" on 9/20, but I haven't seen either yet. I understand the delay for the 7", but what about the LP? I have tickets to see them in November and would like to hear the album sometime before then. My patience is wearing thin. Please help!
