This band was so amazing and the songwriting incredible. They wrote so many memorable quotable lyrics. The kinds of lines that you wanna put on a t-shirt. I was curious to see what other's favorite lyrics were. Here are some of mine(and these are only a few of many)...

hints on my #1 and #5....neither are from a studio album, but both were released in some form. you can now find then re-released on L.A.'s desert origins. and #5 is more of a command than a sung lyric.

Impressive work there bones! I have to say, you've got me stumped on your 1 and 5. I either haven't heard them or it's just not coming to me. Unless someone else wants to take a crack at it, I give up.

it was one of two Pavement songs on the At Home With the Groovebox compilation around the Terror Twilight-era. the other track was only available on the vinyl-version of the comp, the instrumental "Watch Out," and both tracks are widely suspected to be more Malkmus solo outings with the Pavement named attached than actual Pavement songs.
