"Entrance." Did anyone see him? I am extremely open to the strange, novel, and obscure. But this guy really stunk up the place. It was self-indulgent *and* unlistenable. He boasts a three-octave voice range, but sounds like Tiny Tim doing Adam Sandler covers. He's a south-paw that plays a right-handed guitar (so its upside down) but his performace is barely pedestrian.
At first I was trying to be charitible, thinking the guy was doing parody. I was wrong.
Horrendous. The musical equivalent of an enema. Unpleasant in every respect.

i'd have to agree with you on this one.
as a musician, i try to respect all the acts i see and try to give them the benefit of the doubt...but sometimes the doubt just overwhelms you.
i'm glad i wasn't the only one who didn't "get it." i hid back in the corner of the bar during his set in order to save my ears. personally, i just found it to be self-indulgent and overly loud. maybe someone out there likes this guy. for his sake, i hope so.

i dinnit say it, you did.
if there would only have been one sour note put in there somewhere, the redeeming would be profound, but alas, still just what it was.
oh well.
ONE SOUR NOTE@! one little treasure peice of at least one thing without a billion old overplayed arrows pointing at whats to come next in a very linear drone, ouch ouch ouch.
someone should be a band called one sour note, maybe. or maybe that'd make a better label.
