regarding this post:
"Wondering if anyone knows: is it true that Andy got perfect scores on his SATs, had a 4.0 average in college and was Phi BEta Kappa? I know people don't usually ask this kind of stuff on the Matador Boards but the Band doesn't have a BBS and I have always wanted to know if those things are true! Forgive the uncoolness factor -- I know the posts should be "about the music." But I am not that indie rock and the press never asks the questions I want them to ask!"
Sources confirm that 2/3 are correct! Andy Comer did have a 4.0 and was Phi Beta Kappa. I agree with you that it would be cute and unexpected to have that be the stuff of interview questions. What a talented person!!
