I'm not sure if this is the place to ask this, but...
I was wondering if anyone knew how to transfer 4-track tapes to your computer in order to turn them into mp3s/music files...?

I was given this M-Audio audiophile box that came with (Reason Adapted Express) in order to do it, but the guy who lent it to me left town right after he gave it to me, and I have no idea what I'm doing. I have a deadline, and I was wondering if anyone could help me out, in any area of this, whether it be with another program you use, etc.

Any help would be so greatly appreciated.

a simple way to do it is to connect a stereo cable from the "phones" jack of the 4 track into the "in" jack at the back of the computer, get your 4 track levels right and open a recording program of some sort (I use adobe audition), then press play on the 4 track and record what's coming in with your recording program. It's quite simple and easy and it works. You may need a few adaptors for this to connect the cable/lead to the pc, etc.

Thank you.
I have this program now installed called Live Delta 2.1.2, which I think is supposed to do it (record)...The trouble now is just figuring out how it works.
