I know that lots of you are on the east but does anybody knows good record stores in south california? there is nothing beside the wherehouse in my town but certainly orange county must have some interesting independant stores I am not aware about.

(That and I am also looking for places that carry rock steady/ska vinyl stuff)

I know the matador site carry some store of the week feature but there isn't any archive to dig in.

Amoeba in LA is well worth the voyage for you. Hell, it's worth a 3000-mile flight for me.

Lou's in Encinitas and Off The Record and M-Theory in San Diego, but you probably already know those.

thanks, and nope, I don't know Lou's or M-theory either, I don't know any independant record stores here, So, glad you mentionned those two as well. I'll check them out on my next music shopping spree.
