Where is Mark Ibold these days?

Always thought Ibold was a great bass player. Does anyone know if he's playing with anyone now? I heard somewhere that he was working in some restaurant called Great Jones?

I haven't heard about anything new, but yeah, he bartends at Great Jones sometimes. Good margaritas there.

just got back from there 10 minutes ago (and i'm checking the mbb...). wild turkey on the rocks: great on valentine's or just about any other occasion.

oh, i've only had their bloody marys at brunch. late nights i go for whatever cheap is on tap.

(broke up with girlfriend who lived a block away, so i haven't been there in a while.)
(goddammit now i'm thinking of cheese grits, tho theirs are occasionally too runny and not nearly spicy enough.)

that's why it was nice to have a girlfriend who lived a block away. roll out of bed at 10 or so, walk over and have brunch with no wait. and even with ridiculous bedhead, my hair still wouldn't look as bad as some of the dudes who'd show up there.
