I like it too, whereas I've never really cared for anything else they've done.

i really like it. i'm not sure yet if i like it better than 'howls' (which i'm only a couple months into) but it's definitely better than the last one. the production feels much-improved, a lot to closer to a live sound.

yeah, the sound is better, and it really sounds like they're getting comfortable. Not as samey as SKaO...

Does the CD not have any indication of who the album is by or what its called on the cover?

the LP is just the green photo on the front, more info on the inside. I think the only place it says "dead meadow" and "feathers" is on the records themselves... its pretty rad.

nope, nothing on the front - i think there was a slip cover with the name on the top half though, one that comes off once you take off the plastic. otherwise, the names are just on the spine.

tino you weren't there. i meant at the psych/folk/noize mafia's secret weekly meetings in brooklyn. i'm totally gonna get killed, stool pigeon-style.

I know I wasn't there... I never get invited to the kool kids arbitering meetings!

If I did, man, would the indie rock world be different...

I'm with Paul, I really didn't like their earlier stuff but this one's pretty choice.

Picked my copy up at their London show last night, no fancy slipcase for us Europeans, just the old digipak w/ an orrible' sticker on the front.

Also they only played as a three piece, absolutlely brilliant none the less, but what happened to the new guitarist?
