YIPPEEEEE!!!!!!

Laura is doing a show in Dublin , Ireland on Sept 14th. In the groovy Whelans venue, tickets are available via retail sources ( I got mine in Road Records , Fade St. Dublin today) , selling at E21.00.

I'd be interested in your views on Holly Williams. I was vastly under impressed by her, basiclly if she wasn't Hanks grand daughter she'd be playing open mic slots.

I've ordered a copy of Ms Williams's album ; I'll let you know then. I'm always interested in checking out anything that artists I like choose to be associated with.

I saw her support Kasey Chambers in London recently.
I didn't enjoy her Tori Amos style piano warblings at all.

On disc Holly Willams isn't great . Bog standard , Nashville 'big hat' production , corny , boring song structure ( starts quiet , GETS LOUD and ends) . Maybe she'll be better live. Perhaps it's another case of an artist giving the record company something safe , hopeing to do something more adventurous on their next release after acquiring an audience.
