I know this is a little late in the game, but did anyone go to the intonation fest? Fortunately, me and a couple of my buddies were able to drive up for the weekend and caught most of the bands. It was actually my first time going to a music festival such as this and I gotta say, it was largely an enjoyable experience, although I still prefer the intimacy of bands playing in clubs. Some of the highlights for me: Go! Team; Out Hud; Tortoise; Andrew Bird and I caught the tail end of AC Newman. Not so impressed with Deerhoof; Death from Above; Magnolia Electric Co.; Xiu Xiu. They probably sound better in clubs.

Winterversion, a good friend of mine went to this, but I haven't talked to him since he got back from Chicago. I asked him to pick me up a Go! Team cd if they were selling them (I'm assuming he didn't) since they're import-only for now. So you enjoyed them? They're one of my current favorites.

The Go! Team were definitely the highlight of the festival for me. A lot of gnarly dancing kids in the audience too, which was very amusing. I love that singer too, Ninja I think is what they call her. She had the most energy and charisma out of all the bands I saw.
I also looked for the CD at the merch booth, but the guy said the band didn't bring anything. Real bummer.
