i saw the 'meadow at arthurfest this past weekend & they destroyed the place! i was suprised not to see 2nd guitarist cory... has he left the band? if so, it hasn't made a bit of difference in their sound, perhaps even improved it: they were tight & heavy, like creedence on strong owsley. rock!

it's funny, i saw them around when 'feathers' came out and thought the extra guitarist was a nice improvement ... till a few months later, when i saw them again, this time back as a three-piece, and preferred the more open sound. "at her open door" was the only song where it seemed to make a difference.

I dunno about DM. I like their stuff, as I like any stoner rock done well. But the drummer just seems a little one-dimensional. Really basic 4/4 stuff and uninspired drum riffs. I think the music gets a little monotonous as a result. I’m trying to like them more than I actually do.
