This happenend to me as well. But then I tried the website in Internet Explorer and it worked (I was using MoZilla before). So try using IE if you aren't using it already.

the site isn't so updated (hey, they're busy!) but it's a GREAT site, some good steve commentary (not done by some 'agent' of the band, as on many 'official' sites), great candid photos, a hot 'fan art' section, other unconventional and particularly JICKish items in there if you dig....and created by the lovely & talented charlie campbell, formerly of early-90s portland bright lights POND...nils

The site rocks in Mozilla...in fact, I would say Mozilla rocks my little internet world. Anyway, since we know that A) Mozilla rocks and B) Mozilla reads stephenmalkmus.com just fine, then the only conclusion is that your pop-up killer is killing the Jicks site. So be smart and find a way to exclude the pop-up killer from being so damned pushy to the Jicks. That way you do not have to start up (gasp) IE.

I am stupid.... I got mozilla for the purpose of the pop up blocker and it never occured to me that mozilla could be killing the jicks site.

but yeah, this site is pretty great. lots of neat pics and funny rants and bios and stuff.
