Man, seeing Black Mountain a few weeks ago kicked my ass all over the room. I've yet to see DM live, but if its anything near how I expect it, I really wish I lived in one of these cities right now...

no shit. considering how much you dig 'em on record, you will definitely think the world of their live show. they seem to always kick it up a notch. plus i'm a sucker for orange amps.

Tino, you definitely don't wish you lived in Nottingham. Well, maybe if DM and BM were doing a weekly residency you might.
Crap, I'm really tempted by the Manchester date - the Roadhouse is TINY, about 250 cap, and intense - but I'd have to fly out dead early Sat and come back on Sun morning (probably with a hangover) - going to Antony & The Johnsons Friday 25 and Wolf Parade on Sun 27 here.
I'm really surprised one of the guys didn't pitch for a Dublin date, BM has been selling well over here.

they don't come to the boston area often, and last time they did (with JEnnifer Gentle!!!! bah!) I was playing a show in another part of town.

My old band was actually supposed to play a show with them but then they decided to go record Feathers instead and cancelled the mini-tour. or something like that.

either way, ships in the night...

Yeah, i can't wait to see both bands. I've been waiting here in central California for them both to come around sometime. I'm just really happy they're all making music. This european tour is gonna be something though, really something.
