Any upcoming AZ dates?

There will definitely be more Cat Power dates this year. But these ones are your only chance of seeing her with the Al Green band, so take a trip! (One or two more might be added - but don't hold your breath - it's a 22-piece touring crew, with several members in their 70s!)

Best

it's a 22-piece touring crew, with several members in their 70s!

Does that mean that the backing band consists of 22 musicians? or, does that include the sound crew / lighting / etc.? Either way, I just got my tix for the 2nd night in SF,CA and can't wait!

Nah, it just means the record label is hyping. There may well be 22 people travelling on this tour, but there will probably only be 8-11 people playing onstage at any given time.

There won't be any support bands for the Cat Power showcases.
