I like the song a lot. The whistles don't add a lot to the song but they don't detract from it either.

Finally got to listen to this. What struck me was how much there is going on - the vocals and rhythm pushing against the guitar. Found it very restless and that grabbed my attention, my mind wasn't wandering whilst listening to it. Is it the lead-off track to the album? Thumbs up!
