Columbus, OH label Old 3C Records is home to Great Plains -- whose releases from the 1980s were originally issued by Homestead, Mr Cosloy's pre-Matador employer. As well, the original Great Plains bass player was one Don Howland, of Matador alumni-artists the Bassholes.

Please see our web-site for podcasts, streaming media, etc. Thanks much.

I wanna say "boo spammer!" But Don Howland's a badass, so I won't.

Ron House is a badass, as well. I miss The Thomas Jefferson Slave Apartments. :(

Hands down one of Ron's best records and I mean that. A totally overlooked gem that every regular here should get ASAP if they don't have it already.

I feel obligated to second Dave on that. Truly a record that the term "overlooked gem" was coined for.

I'll have to third you guys on that recommendation. Could go on about it, but yeah...

Great Plains I also like a lot.
