How did you first listern to the Greatest?

Yesterday was such a good day for me. I met up with a friend who i hadn't seen in months. She like me is a massive Cat Power fanantic. And we were both really excited about hearing the new record together. So we sat in her front room and shared a bottle of Wine as we listerned to it unfold. We both really liked it even if we did kinda talk oven it. Laura my friend is planing on getting it on Vinyl. Life is so worth living when you have good friends, Wine and a new Cat Power LP to listern to.

I listened to it in my bedroom with my headphones on, the lights turned off and the curtains closed.

I find that with the all the lights off and not being able to see anything means zero distractions and so the best way to take music in.

Just my personal preference though. Im sure it wouldnt work for everybody.

I heard it on my stereo in the front room while eating fried rice and drinking water and reading the lyrics.

I love reading the lyrics as the music plays it adds to the experience.
