If I recall correctly, Japanese presses of US albums tend to always have exclusive bonus tracks. This is because apparently domestic (Japanese) CDs actually sometimes for some reason tend to be more expensive than their import (US) CDs, that the Japanese labels/distros need to put Japan-only bonus tracks as incentive for Japanese folks to buy Japanese-made CDs.

I remember Thrill Jockey used to have this in their FAQ about why all the Tortoise CD's had mad extra tracks for the Japanese only

Its a piano cover of "All I Have to Do Is Dream" by the Everly Brothers.

Might Matador one day release a rarities disc for us (radio sessions, b-sides, bonus tracks, guest appearances etc)?

Also, Japanese law provides no prohibition of parallel imports - their market is flooded with legitimate imports of the same records in a way that no other country is.

Hence the 2 weeks early, bonus tracks routine for most releases of non-Japanese artists.

"Dreams" will appear as the B-side of the second UK single, "Living Proof", out March 6 as 7" and CD5 (same tracks, 2 tracks each, picture sleeve), release date March 6. You will be able to order from the store on this site. Preorders avail shortly.

It's a corker.

Correction, the second UK single will be "Could We." Still backed with "Dreams", still out March 6 in those formats.
