Legendary Chicago soundman (and kick-ass tuba player) Gary Shepers (you might know him from the Hide Out, the late, lamented Lounge Axe, etc.) is going through some very serious medical difficulties.
Like most folks making a living from music, he has no health insurance, and now has some substantial bills to pay. Musical folks in Chicago have organized an impressive line-up of benefit shows to help, but there's more that will be needed.
