1. Ween? all the way from 1984-- I love. Are they more popular than I think? Never heard of them before until I found a few songs recently.
2. Living Things -- this is my current obsession. Has anyone else heard anything about them? (www.livingthingsmusic.com) Bom Bom Bom + God Made Hate are my two favorite songs. I believe they're three Canadian brothers?
Let me know what you think :D Yes, I'm still alive btw!

Yeah, ween seem's pretty well established. They've done jingles for Pizza Hut, Muppets movies, TV shows, and Honda commercials. My favorite ween album would have to be "The Mollusk." Have you heard that one?

They've done jingles for Pizza Hut,
didn't they *almost* do the Pizza Hut jingle, only to have it rejected for the "where'd my motherfucking cheese go?" line? the Ween website used to have clips of the rejected ads.
GODweenSATAN: The Oneness is easily my favorite Ween album.

Yeah, yr right. Their Greg the Bunny song got booted too, and that one kicked ass.

the Ween show was easily the worst live experience of my entire life. not so much because of the band, but because of the audience. at the 3 1/2 hour show, aside from the girl I was with getting pushed down twice and having a beer poured on her to some jackass punching me in the back of the head because I wasn't dancing, it was enough to make me never have any desire to listen to Ween for as long as I live. they really attract the worst societal element as fans.

see, I figured that'd be the case, so I chose to never go see them, so I could continue to enjoy the records.

OK guys. Seriously. Who, besides me, is completely naked at this moment?

I was working in a record shop when Ween released 'Chocolate and Cheese' and one of the owners insisted we stuck price tags over the boobs on the front cover. To preserve modesty, rather than promote illicit commerce, I hasten to add.

I listened to them on their site, and I wasn't much impressed. What is it about them that you like so much?

I've been doing a lot of running lately. God made hate and bom bom bom are just songs I listen to when I run. They pump me up! I guess they have their moments. They were never any competition with Pavement etc. though.
