Ween have just recorded their new album, quebec, and are now looking for a new label. What label would be better suited to put out some of the most catchy and inventive music this side of Guided by Voices than Matador? You guys would be perfect for each other.

I'm glad you guys have a fave band that you wanna champion but we've been doing this label thing for a little while now and we've somehow managed to make up our own minds about who like and who we don't. Your support for Matador is appreciated but we're not one of those "the-customer-is-always-right" outfits. This is just one of those times (not the first and not the last) that your tastes and ours will not intersect.
