The show last night was GREAT! (The sound wasn't the best, but got better as things wore on.) Anyone else go? Anyone tape it? i'd kill for an un-edited recording of the whole night. Honestly, it was awesome. Does she usually play around with the audience like that?

(An aside: anyone catch her pickin' her underwear outta her ... um ... bum? Oh, the glamour of being a rockStar.... Hope she doesn't read this. Gulp.--But it was really kinda' cute.)

It was really wonderful. This was my first Cat Power show. She definitely does move in and out of songs without much bother, as has been noted. I found this to be refreshing, a lot better than "song/clapclap/song/clapclap". There was a bit of banter with Dana the sound girl but it was the opposite of derogatory. Chan referred to her once as Dana the sound goddess. Does she always play for that long? It was about a two hour set I think.

Yeah man, long time without a cigarette.

My first, also. i dragged my girlfriend along, even tho she didn't want to go (and is even a bit jealous of my devotion)--and, needless to say, she spent the whole day today going thru my CatPower records.... i (or Chan, rather) has converted her.

She also referred to Chan as a "sex-pot", which i thot was kinda' funny.
