I've recently started up an internet radio station called "Following My Fish" playing lots of Matador/indie bands - Yo La Tengo, The New Pornographers, Belle and Sebastian, Mission of Burma, The Fall, Pavement, Tom Waits, Nick Cave, John Vanderslice, and on and on. I'd be curious to hear what you all think - you can listen for free at http://www.followingmyfish.com
I should also note that I'm always looking for new music to play. If you're in a band and think your music would be a good fit, please write to me or send me a link where I can hear your stuff.

Good for you, I'll have to check it out.
You should play some Violent Femmes, they increase the fun by 72.9% guaranteed.

Wow, I wasn't expecting actual requests. These are all fine suggestions. Tune in over the next few weeks and I do solemly swear that you'll hear a hearty amount of these bands (with the possible exception of the Misfits... sorry, I just can't get into them the way I did in high school).

Man, I'd love to know what Futureman reconsidered saying.

I realize that I'm kind of on shaky ground posting here and I apologize if anyone feels I've abused the forum. For the record, I make absolutely no profit from running my station and I just thought it was something the people who read this would enjoy. I will happily pack up my tent and go home (or at least delete the message) if you all would like me to.
Man, I'd love to know what Futureman reconsidered saying.

The cold response is only due to our past annoyance w/ someone else hyping an internet radio station. Since you've already hyped, there's no need to retreat - just join the conversation.

Caveat lector: and notice that the regulars don't use this board to pitch their own sites.
