Spoon/CF - Atlanta

The Atlanta show last night was unbelievable. Crooked Fingers rocked out with an upright bass like no other band that I have seen before. Eric Bachmann lived up to his reputation last night.

And Spoon was terrific as would be expected. Can you ever get enough of the Girls Can Tell classics?

Any idea when a new Spoon album is coming out?

I laughed a little last night thinking about an anonymous person with a camera at a NYC Spoon show taking pictures with the red eye flash turned on.

I saw somewheres that they may have an ep coming out. Their eps are always gems so it should be a goodin. At some point they should put all the eps on one record. Soft Effects, Love Ways and Agony of Ron the Two Faced Liar all had some exceptional songs.

Saw Spoon/Crooked Fingers 4/4 in Newport KY -- best show I've seen in a long time, and I'm still saying that after seeing Yo La Tengo a week later.

I figured that the unspoken person would reveal himself. That must have been one of the funniest show stories that I have ever heard.
