View Full Version : Good work fellas
Good job not signing Ween. They don't deserve to be a part of this great label. Funny at first, but like every middle school joke it begins to wear on you. Keep up the good work Matador. Just keep on giving us good music like you always have.

did anyone ever hear the commercials ween did for pizza hut that they rejected? not really a ween fan, but always wondered what the commercials sounded like ... (never curious enough to actually seek them out of course).

they were actually very catchy and hilarious. the "clean" and 'dirty" versions are available on their site for download.

TD,
thanks for your comments but it isn't fair to say that we are avoiding signing Ween any more than we've gone out of our way to to deny a spot to Oasis, Radiohead or Wayman Tisdale. It would be terribly presumptuous of you or I to assume that Ween would have any interest in working with Matador. Just as it would be presumptuous of anyone to presume that any of us at Matador are fans of Ween.
they're a very popular band and shouldn't have a hard time finding a way of making their music available without Matador involvement. If anyone else would like to discuss the ups and downs of Ween's career, please, by all means do so...somewhere else.
