It's wonderful news.
you should have already got your tickets refunded. our suggestion is to just contact the venue and try to work something out.

does anyone have any info on more dates, perhaps in the east coast?
if not, i'm gonna have to find a way to make it out west!!
Cat Power will being doing a select number of dates in the east coast leading up to her confirmed show at the Bonnaroo Festival.
Keep checking here and her official website: catpowerthegreatest.com
Thanks!

What a shame Cat Power is not going to come to play in Europe in the near future. I strongly feel that the audience in London, Paris, Berlin or Prague would appreciate her gig a lot (ask David Byrne about his 2005 gig in Prague - was an awesome success (which came to David - while still on the stage - as a pleasant surprise!).
Greetings from the paralel universe.

Maybe she'll do the summer festivals? I hope she will.

It's possible i'm not sure i can see her doing Reading unless it's on the carling stage but there's a lot much smaller and more inderpendent Festival that suit an artist such like Cat Power, the SummerSundae for example would be perfect or maybe the Track Festival in Oxford.

Europe will be September-October - sorry, it was impossible to reschedule on such short notice, and it is inadvisable to tour Continental Europe in July or August because so many people are on holiday.
So stay tuned - we'll have an announcement soon!
Best

Will the European dates have the full Memphis Rhythm Band?

We hope so! It's very complicated but I think we can look forward to at least most of the key players.

It would be ruling with the full band
Is she doing any festivals or just venues...? As I have Reading tickets ( unlikely I know...but one can hope).
