we've just launched http://www.obliterati.net. check it out. couple of notes:

- we'll be releasing a new stream of a song from the Punctuate subscription series (and the new album) every 3 days for the next 24 days. this will also include releasing a detailed view of Shepard Fairey's etchings and desktop wallaper of said etchings. (warning: the music starts right away, but it's one of the best songs Burma has ever written...so deal with it)

- it's also a Wiki - meaning that you can register and edit the pages on the site, add new pages and upload photos. it's like a bulletin board on steroids. if you're not familiar with a wiki, it might take some time, but here are some simple directions:

1. create a user name and password.
2. login to your account
3. at the bottom of the article, click "edit"
4. you will come to a page with the article and edit away
5. click save

to add a new page:
1. highlight the "words you want to link" the new page from
2. in the "quicktags" click "wiki link"
3. that should make the text like this: ((words you want to link))
4. click "save"
5. on the page you should see a ? next to the "words you want to link"
6. click on the ? and then a new blank page will launch
7. enter text
8. click save and marvel in new technology

you can also:
1. upload photos
2. comment on pages
3. start a survey

this is a huge sandbox for you to play in...so have fun!!!!

Get in there and edit that wiki folks!!!

check the FAQ if you have any questions. You must register to edit, but it's easy and doesn't require you to go to your email and click on a link or anything like that. super-fun for us verbal types. (you visual types can upload pictures and graphics)

That reminds me...in the cross-reference to the FUs it mentioned the VFW Hall in Cambridge where there were some great early 1980's hardcore show and I have a fine picture of that building with it's 24 ft tall disarmed missile shell standing upright in front of the building.

The missile is still standing. It's on Huron Ave., on the Cambridge-Belmont border.
