"Hi Everybody
The offical release date of our next album has been set for August 8th. It's called All This Time. We will be putting a couple of the songs up on our website and myspace page in the next couple of days. We will be touring all over in the Fall. Until then though we have several upcoming dates this weekend. We play Detroit, Cleveland, and return home to Cincinnati Sunday for the 1st ever Desdemona Festival at Sawyer Point. It's all weekend long, and on Sunday we join The Walkmen, Fiery Furnaces, The Stills, Radio 4, We Are Scientists, Rogue Wave, Richard Swift, and more. We will have the new cd for sale with us. We hope to see you this weekend. Best wishes from the Heartless Bastards.

Friday June 23 - Detroit @ The Magic Stick

Saturday June 24 - Cleveland @ Grog Shop

Sunday June 25 - Cincinnati @ Desdemona Festival at Sawyer Point we play at 4:00 pm

Is anybody else excited about this? I thought to post it here simply because their first record was my favourite album of last year and the way I understand it you could fit everybody who bought it in a humbly sized wardrobe.

I hope you have a good time. Im hoping they come to the UK soon as support on some tour by a more established band (probably to some garage blues thing like the Black Keys or the Dirtbombs).:)

Its coming out tomorrow but I have to wait till next Monday for it to come out over here.

From the sounds of the track on their page and the tracks on MySpace there's a definite progression been made and its gonna be awesome.:)

I'm listening to them perform live right now in the WOXY lounge. They sound amazing as always. They'll probally archive the performance if the band gives them permission.

Just got hold of the album today and I like it but I think it doesnt sound as well recorded as the first one. Can anybody explain to me why it is that the record sounds muffled and blurry rather than clear and sharp? Is this something to do with microphones used or reverb or something?

Here's a soundclip for you to hear what I mean (click on "All This Time" or "I Swallowed A Butterfly"). Why does this muffled, muddy effect occur?
