What in the fuck happened?
you'd think a band with that much talent and experience and creativity might produce an album that had even a remote sense of originality.
it's such a completely weak album.
Should we just blame Billy for the album and sum up Matt and David's participation to $$?

On the contrary, I've systematically dismissed Corgan's output for close to eight years, and the Zwan album won me back. Regardless of how much underground credibility the membership of Zwan may have in tow, it's the best showcase for Billy Corgan's songwriting since Siamese Dream.

The solution you mention is the one I'm going with. If I made the best record of the 90s and it sold 2500 copies I'd go find a well-paying gig too.
