I had no idea Arab Strap was ready to release something new. This is good news!
Any word yet on when Sons & Daughters will release something and whether or not it will be available in the US?

Just a note...
The link to the New Pornographers page doesn't seem to be working.
Also, any hint as to what the new Mogwai sounds like?

I don't think they used Dave Fridmann this time out, so it probably won't be as "orchestral" as the last few albums...

it's now called "Happy Songs For Happy People"
and thank God, 'cause I was worried they would actually call their album "Bag of Agony"

who writes your promotional copy?
"With production values vastly improved, and new drummer Stephen McCarty sharing the same last name as Yardbirds legend Jim McCarty, there is no question that I am losing my mind."
that crack'd me up!

yeah, mogwai didn't use friddman...
good job too..
instead they used tony doogan...who did some of the earlier stuff....
hopefully it'll be really loud.
i'm not sure about what it'll sound like...they did play a few new songs on the tour last year and some of them are fuxing good, but it's hard to say whether they'll be on the album....
we'll just have to wait and see.
