View Full Version : Question about a live performance

Hiya everyone! I was talking with a couple friends last week, fellow Chan lovers, and they said something about seeing a full performance being posted on the internet from her tour this past Fall (?) or late Summer (??) with the Memphis Rhythm Band (?). Apparently it was from Berkeley (California? Berkeley University? Berklee College of Music, Boston?) I've looked via Google but, as I don't really have a whole lot of information to go on, I wasn't finding anything. Thus, I thought I might put the question up here to see what kind of responses I get. Does anyone know anything about this? Or better yet, know where I can find it? I'm excited because I was told that 'Hit the Road Jack' was part of the show and I'm just *dying* (gasp!) to have that. Any/all information is mighty appreciated. :o

numerous shows from the past year, including the June 7th Berklee show (which I attended) in Boston have been posted on various blogs. Hit the road was played frequently on that tour. I don't recall the source of my copy but I'll guess other shows are still available.

happy hunting!

Can't recall where the Berklee set is, but here's Dallas which features Hit The Road Jack/Chan...

Thanks everyone for your responses! With the information from Stewrat, I was able to find the page I was being told about, which was in fact the 7th of June show. I even found on the same website a September performance. (links below) Unfortunately, neither of the links are active any longer. I'm bummed. (I only supply them now as a means of being thorough in my head.)

Thank you also to Jackofficer for the Dallas show. In a few minutes I'll finish up with downloading that and giving it a listen. And thumbs up to Hiiammica for the Hype site link. I'll check it out and see what I can find. It seems to me that I've been there before (??) and gave up on it because the blogs were always outdated. ...but that was hardcore stuff [Embrace, Articles of Faith, Void, and one other...The Promise?]. I actually never thought to look for Cat Power.

OHell: I haven't heard about the March date being on line, but I'll look.

Thanks again everyone! :D

As I noted in my last post, neither of these links are active any longer. The files had been long pulled from whatever server they were on. I only included them in my response as a means of being complete. I'm a little OCD. Apologies for any confusion.
